At the young age of 6 Christopher began composing.  While studying piano with Kathy Pratt in Richardson, Texas, he wrote a few small pieces for piano which he performed in studio recitals.  Otherwise his earlier works, mostly orchestral, were composed purely for his pleasure without serious intentions of organizing performances.  His senior year of high school he and a good friend of his were asked to write the tune and text, respectively, for a new Alma Mater.  The result is posted below, the amateur voice-leading charitably revised by Dori Martin.

After learning proper voice leading and counterpoint Chris began writing music increasingly for church use.  Posted below are some of his choral works, psalm settings, a service setting, and a hymn.
